Decorating the tree and Evelyn pics

 Even with the step stool only the bottom half of the tree got decorated by the kids. 

They always do a good job and have fun getting all the ornaments out.  Chuck filled in the upper half of the tree and got the star on top.

 Evelyn seems to enjoy the swing the most of the three.  Carter and Audrey didn't care for it much.

Tita Amy visits

 Tita Amy came to visit the first weekend in Dec.  We haven't seen her in over a year!  Tita Angela and Uncle Brett came down for the weekend too.  We had a lot of fun having the 3 of us together again.  The kids love having their silly tita around too :)

The boys went golfing Saturday morning.  When they got back us girls went shopping in the Heights and then we all met up for lunch.

After lunch Tita Amy took the kids to Toys R Us to pick out their Christmas presents.  The kids had a blast shopping (they are my kids after all) and then Amy didn't have to ship presents when she got back home.  Carter picked out more Star Wars legos and a Star Wars angry birds game and Audrey picked a sparkley princess make up kit and a Brave bow and arrow set.  We picked out an adorable dress and cardigan for Evelyn.

Angela and Brett had to go back home Saturday night.  Sunday, Amy and I got to have a sisters day.  Chuck watched all three kids while Amy and I got pedicures, went to lunch and did even more shopping.  It was nice getting to have some time together just us.  Before we knew it, it was time to take her to the airport.  We'll have to plan a visit out to California soon!

Our Christmas tree

 On our way home from the kid's Christmas party we stopped and picked up our Christmas tree.  We found this 10 ft. tall tree that Chuck had to have.  I wasn't sure about this big of one but it does look nice in our two story great room.

 Carter was a good helper with getting the lights up.  He followed him rolling the spool of lights.

 In order to reach the top of the tree Chuck needed the little giant.  The step stool wasn't tall enough.

This is just a random picture of Carter being the goof ball that he is.  He decided Evelyn's bouncy chair was a good place to relax.

3 months old

 I'm back tracking a bit.  The Wednesday before Thanksgiving was a cazy day.  Chuck had to round and do a couple of cases before we hit the road so I was left home to pack, get Sasha to the vet and take care of sick Audrey.  It was also the day that Evelyn turned 3 months old.  In the chaos of the day I forgot to take her picture.  I took my second future ballerina's 3 month pictures when we got back home.  So here they are and yes I'm finally posting them after she has already turned 4 months old.  :)

 My sweet smiley 3 month old.  She is so full of smiles and is such a happy baby.  Evelyn's my best sleeper out of the 3 sleeping through the night the earliest.

CCP Holiday Party

 The Sunday after Thanksgiving the Club had their kids Christmas party.  They had a massive buffet lunch and different activities for the kids.  Here the kids are showing us the cookies they decorated.

 They got to make reindeer food and docorate the containers for it.  They are supposed to sprinkle the food in the yard Christmas Eve to help the reindeer find their way to our house.

 Carter made his container into a reindeer.  He did a really nice job.  He always enjoys an art project.

Audrey colored hers a little bit but then just stuck a bunch of the glitter letters on it.

 They had live reindeer there.  The kids thought it was really neat to pet one of Santa's reindeer.

Milwaukee visit

 We drove down to Milwaukee Friday afternoon to visit and spend the night with Great Grandma Pat.  Everyone that was around came over for dinner and it was nice to see them and have them meet Evelyn.  Here Carter and Audrey are enjoying watching a  movie and goofing around with Uncle Len.

Blue Harbor

 While we were in Sheboygan for Thanksgiving we stayed at Blue Harbor in their villas.  Friday we tooks the kids to the water park before we hit the road to Milwaukee.  The kids had a blast as always.

Audrey was hesitant to go down the slide so Chuck gave her a little push.  Gotta love her facial expression.

Carter loves when the water dumped.  He did this several times.

Carter went down all the big slides for the first time too.  He's getting so big!

 It's so warm and humid in there so we stripped Evelyn down to her onesie.  Mom couldn't go in the water since her incision wasn't healed enough from her surgery so she watched Evelyn for us.  Audrey kept telling her to put her suit on.  After playing for a while she needed to take a slushie break on Tita Angela's lap.

Thanksgiving

 We spent Thanksgiving with my side of the family at my Grandma's house for the first time in 9 years.  It was nice to be with so much family and let everyone meet Evelyn.

I set down the camera and didn't take enough pictures.  I did manage to get a picture of the kids table.  Natalie, Carter, Audrey & Ava.  They were so cute togther and had fun playing together all day.

Catching up

 I'm trying to get caught up with the blog so here are some random pictures

Evelyn is really liking the playmat these days.  The musical blinking star seemed to mesmerize all of our kiddos.

 Sasha had adjustment issues the first week or so in the house.  She has settled in and feels at home now.

I love that Evelyn is able to wear some of Audrey's old clothes.  This green dress was one of my favorites from Audrey.  Evelyn looked so much like Audrey in it I had to find a picture of Audrey in it.  Evelyn is on the left and Audrey's on the right.

Halloween

 Audrey got to wear her costume to school on Halloween.  It was cute to see that almost all the girls in her class were princesses.  She was the only Snow White though.

 The kids were so excited to go trick or treating.  Carter helped me make our Halloween themed dinner-mummy dogs with brains (home made mac & cheese)  After they ate Chuck took them trick or treating.  I stayed back with Evelyn.  Since there are a ton of houses in our neighborhood yet we thought we would have to drive them to another one.  Instead they filled their buckets in record time.  The neighboors were so happy to have trick or treaters each house gave the kids a bunch of candy.
