Milwaukee weekend

Carter's birthday weekend we spent in Milwaukee.  We had Chuck's 10 year medical school reunion!  Sounds crazy that it's been 10 years since med school already.  I was bad and didn't take any pictures from it.  The first night was a real nice program and dinner at the Pfister.  The second night was a catered dinner at the zoo for families. 

 Audrey fit into Angela's first ballet costume :)  She loved wearing it around the house and didn't want to take it off.  While Chuck and I were at the Pfister Angela and Brett took the kids to Stone Fire for dinner.  It made for a special fun dinner for Carter on his birthday.

 They also got Carter a cake and we got to sing to him again.  This time with Tita Angela, Uncle Brett, Grandma Debbie and Mike.

 Saturday, Grandma Debbie and Mike came down to spend the day with us until our event at the zoo.  We took the kids to a bounce place to let them get some energy out.

 We ended up spending more time playing games then playing in the bounce houses.

After the zoo we went and spent the night with Great Grandma Aprahamian.  She had a special birthday treat for Carter as well.  The giant angry bird cookie was perfect for our angry bird obsessed munchkin.

Carter's 7!

 Carter is 7!  We celebrated a day early since we were going to be traveling on his birthday.  He's wearing his birthday crown from school in this picture.

 He asked for a Stitch ice cream cake this year and I wasn't sure if they would be able to do it or not.  Our Dairy Queen rocks and did an amazing job on the cake!  He LOVED it and still talks about his Stitch cake :)

 I know I've said it a million times but Carter is such a sweet big brother to his little sisters.  He really pays more attention to Evelyn than Audrey does. 

 He truly enjoys giving her attention and telling her how cute she is.

spring weekend

 The last weekend in April finally felt like spring.  We got outside and enjoyed the weather while being productive.  Audrey practiced her rollerblading.  Chuck got our spot lights, path lights and fountain up in the front of the house.  I have to take pictures of that yet.

 We also stopped at a local nursery to get pots for next to the front door.  We happened to catch them during their potting party.  They helped us pick out the plants, supplied the soil and helped us plant them.  They had cookies and lemonade to snack on too.

 The lady that was helping us was great!  She was super sweet to the kids and helped them do the planting.  The kids had fun!  They always like helping with flowers/plants.

 The nursery staff even lined my trunk with plastic and loaded the pots into the car for us.  We are so glad we decided to go there that day!

It was a productive spring weekend.  I'll have to take and post some pictures of the finished product.

 Carter's school had muffins with moms at the end of April.  We got to get up nice and early and have breakfast together in the gym.  We were served muffins, juice, milk and coffee by the dads.  It was fun to see Carter at school and his interaction with his friends.

 I also have to post a couple of pics of the Mini Miss.  Now that she's on the move she loves to carry her toys in her mouth.  I think I have a picture of all three of them with this block in their mouth.

8 months

 Our mini miss is 8 months old!  She's full of energy and no longer sits still.  Getting her sticker pictures proved to be a challenge this month. :)

At 8 months Evelyn is on the move.  She was backward crawling for a while and then decided to turn it into a forward upright crawl about a week after turning 8 months.  She has a good appetite and is loving the table food we've given her so far.  She continues to sleep through the night and takes a short morning nap and a longer afternoon nap.  She loves her brother and sister and gets excited when they come home from school.  I could keep going but I won't bore you.  We love our Mini Miss and what a great addition she's been to our family.

Audrey's BFF

 Audrey's best friend from school is Alaina.  These two are so funny together.  We've been trying to get the girls together outside of school for some time but things kept coming up.  We finally were able to coordinate a time and they had a blast.  They played dress up trying on every princess dress and tutu in Audrey's closet.  They modeled every time they changed.

 They even gave Evelyn some love.  She wasn't sure what to think of it though.

Evelyn is on the move and getting herself wedged under the chair and coffee table.
