Cabin fever

 

 By the time the end of February rolled around cabin fever was setting in.  We had many play dates to keep them busy.  Audrey's bestie lives so close that it was easy to coordinate.

 They thought it was funny that I let Evelyn paint with them.

 I also hosted a play date for 5 of her friends after school one day.  This one was for the kids and mommies.  The moms had fun chatting while the kids played.  They played hard and wanted to settle down with a movie. I like how they had to all squish together and sit in one row.  They were so cute!

One of the moms brought these cute smiley face cookies for the kiddos.

 Evelyn can't get enough of Sasha.  She even has to cuddle with her under our bed.

 This picture I was getting ready to run to the store.  That's why she has her boots on.  While I was packing the diaper bag Evelyn crawled under the bed, snuggled up to Sasha and fell asleep.  Sasha stayed under there with Evelyn until she woke up.

 She woke up happy :)

 Under our bed is where Sasha can get away from the commotion of the house and rest.  Evelyn can't resist invading her space. 

Sasha's other favorite spot is wedged under the kitchen table.

And then there's these 2.  They are going to be trouble together one day.

 Audrey is such a poser whenever I take pictures

 I bought some snow paints to try.  The kids had fun decorating the snowman we made with them.

 Family picture except for Evelyn.  She was napping.

Snowpocalypse

 The snowpacalypse continued.  The kids enjoyed all the snow and didn't get sick of it as quickly as we did.

 Chuck would toss the snow towards them and they thought it was hilarious.

 It was fun listening to them giggle every time

Valentines Day

 Audrey's Valentine message to Carter :)

 Carter wanted his Valentine box to be a minion.  We had fun making it together and it turned out great!

He loves it!

 He brought pop rocks for all his friends along with his valentines.

 Audrey and all her cute school friends.  They had a lot of fun with their school party.

Music Program

 Carter had his music program at school

Second Grade performed Dino-Soaring!  They were told to wear green and he happened to have a green shirt with a dinosaur on it.

 It was so much fun to watch all his expressions

 He did a great job and even had a speaking part

 Carter was definitely one of the most animated in his class :)  I love it! 

Discovery Museum, Milwaukee

 The second weekend in February we went up to Milwaukee.  We took the kids to the Discovery Museum.  It's a great museum and the kids had a lot of fun.

Touch tanks are always a hit

 They have a touch tank with sting rays and bamboo sharks and a lake sturgeon touch tank

 Evelyn was mesmerized by the fog coming out of the floor. 

 There were a lot of mirrors for Evelyn to admire herself in

 Helping Tita Angela and Grandma Debbie push the tubes to make the fan rotate.

 Carter couldn't reach the pedals so he sat on Tita Angela's lap.  She pushed the pedals and he steered.

 Audrey stole the stroller from Evelyn so Evelyn climbed on her lap :)

That night Grandma Debbie watched the kids while Angela, Brett, Chuck and I went out to dinner.  We went to Coerper's and of course started with some of their yummy cocktails.
