Sasha's 10!

It's hard to believe that Sasha is 10 already!  It's been so fun watching the kids grow up with her.
She started her morning with snuggles.
The kids always like celebrating Sasha's birthday.  This year we got her a frosty paw.  We put a candle in it so the kids could sing to her.

We were going to put the frosty paw in her bowl but the kids wanted to hold it for her.
They each took a turn holding it
 Until it was all gone

School bus, City bus

Evelyn's class did a unit on buses.  They had a school bus come to school for the kids to explore.  They counted the lights, seats. windows, etc.  The driver and bus monitor talked to the kids.  Then they took them for a ride around the parking lot.
They made a bus out of a refrigerator box and even got to paint it yellow.  I should've taken a picture of the side as well.  They had windows cut out and even a stop sign.
At the end of the unit we took the kids on a city bus ride.  It sure was an interesting experience.
With her best buds, Sienna, Brendan and Tucker.  I love how the girls are holding hands.

2nd Annual PDT Alumni Game

I decided to participate in the Panther Dance Team Alumni dance again.  I'm proud to say I'm still not the oldest one to show up yet ;)
It was a lot of fun and we pulled off another great half time routine
 Current team with the Alumni
It was another good turn out.  We'll see if it's an even bigger group next year.  There were a lot that couldn't be there due to being in their last trimester.  It was a baby boom this year.
There were FOUR alumni that are Sheboygan North grads!

Love getting to dance with my sister again :)

Above and Beyond Children's Museum

Valentine's weekend we went up to Milwaukee so I could participate in the second annual Panther Dance Team Alumni dance.
While Chuck and I were at the game the kids were having fun with Grandma Debbie and Mike at the Above and Beyond Children's Museum.
It's a great museum.  The last time we were there we only had Carter.

Mom said that Evelyn loved the firetruck and had to put all of the gear on.
Peg boards are always a hit.
Last time Carter didn't make it through without Tita Angela's help.  This time Evelyn was too scared to make it through.

Valentine's crafts

As you know, my kids love crafts.  I don't have a ton of Valentine decorations so I had the kids make one.
I had a canvas left from a previous project.  I got some spouncer sponges and cut them into hearts.  The letters were cut out and taped onto the canvas.  Each kiddo got a different color and they stamped until it was all covered.
They were proud of the final result.  To be honest so am I.  I wasn't expecting it to turn out so well.
 Cute festive cookies
The kids get to bring Valentine's boxes to school.  Carter loved his minion from last year so much he wanted to do a minion again this year.  To make it different we decided to do a purple one.  It was fun to make and Carter loved it as always.
Audrey chose Olaf and loved how he turned out.  There were plenty of moms venting on Facebook that Pintrest makes working moms look bad.  In my defense, I didn't use Pintrest and I don't do it to one up other moms.  I do it because my kids ask me to and we have fun doing it together.  They help with cutting and gluing and any other part they are willing to try.
Evelyn wanted to be in a picture too :)  It was also pajama day at school.

Carter's music program

Carter had his music program at school called, It's Saturday!
They had a choice of dressing up or wearing their pajamas.  As you can see most chose to wear pajamas.
 Pretending to sleep
He was a featured vocalist for one of the songs.
It was a cute program and they all did a great job.
 They were so cute.
Celebrating a great performance with ice cream!

100th day, etc

Audrey's class celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing like a 100 year old.
She had fun planning her outfit.  However, when Carter called her Grandma she wasn't happy about it anymore.  She said she didn't want to look old. Ha!
She had a fun filled day at school and felt better about dressing up when she saw her friends.  They did all sorts of 100 activities that day.
The kids always get excited when we receive our Honeybells in the mail!  They are delicious and the kids always devour them.
Audrey made this at school.  It is now hanging in Chuck's office :)
Audrey continues to love baking with her easy bake oven
The girls love to dress alike.  We don't do it often and they only have a couple of the same outfits.  It reminds me of my sisters and I when we were little.

Sledding

January brought freezing temps but not much snow.  We finally got enough snow to play in February.  The kids were so happy.
The kids made their own Olaf!  I think they did a great job.  I only helped stack the snowballs.  Carter shaped the head.  Evelyn was thrilled with the result and kept giving him hugs.
Audrey being Audrey :)
Even Sasha went sledding!
The hill in the backyard is perfect for their age.  It's great not having to pack up and go some where.
It was great packing snow.  Audrey kept making snowballs.
Evelyn kept feeding them to Sasha.
Sasha loves having the kids out in the snow with her
Rolling down the hill
The kids make winter and snow so much fun.  I love watching them play together in it.
