Carter doesn't like swim team but we make him do it since swimming is a life skill. Also, because we have seen him improve every summer.  His first year on the team he belly flopped off the block and now he's actually diving.  They still need work but he's doing so much better.

The same goes for Audrey. Although, I think she doesn't mind it as much since she loves the social time with her friends at the meets.

 Evelyn looks so tiny up on the block.  She clearly is in the belly flop stage but she's doing great! Especially, since she's the only 4 year old that made the team this summer!

The summer wouldn't be complete without a week in Destin.  It's always relaxing and the quality family time we need.

summer activities

 Summer activities were in full swing when we returned home from Chicago.  I had to take a picture of Evelyn carrying her swim team backpack.  It's nearly the size of her!

 We're so proud of Evelyn for being the only 4 year old to make the swim team this summer.  The meets can be intimidating with so many kids and she handled it like a champ. 

 putting drills at Jr. Golf.  It will be so nice when Evelyn is old enough to participate

 She did decide to give tennis a try.  All 3 kiddos keep me busy with swim team, tennis and golf over the summer.

Audrey's sweet friend Ava invited her to learn to decorate cakes and cupcakes.  They had a lot of fun and came home will all sorts of goodies.  I was impressed with how some of them turned out as well.

Meeting Cruz

 After we got back from Chicago we got a visit from the kiddos new cousin, Cruz!  He had a crazy entry into the world so we didn't get to see him when he was born.
