We went to Oregon with some friends and rented a house in the Willamette Valley.

Our first dinner out was at Thistle.

 Our house has a gorgeous view and we were ready to spend the day enjoying amazing wine and food.

 The first stop was Anderson Family Vineyard.

 Their vineyard is just beautiful.  We tasted some wonderful wines.  It was so interesting to taste the difference between the different years and how the growing conditions affect it.  We also got to tour their cellar.

FFL fun

 Carter's Faith For Life group from church had some knockerball fun.  They also brought in this soccer dart board.

 It was crazy to watch the kids run around in these things.  They really bounce off of each other and roll around.

 It was a hot summer so the girls were happy to have some fall temps to enjoy playing outside.

 This little car continues to be a lot of fun

 Chuck was on the local morning show talking about minimally invasive training.  Evelyn said he was boring and should have actually done surgery on TV to make it interesting. Ha!

 Our friends organized a fun tail gate at their house before the Illini game.  They got all the kiddos future Fighting Illini shirts.

 Audrey gained a new buddy.  They held hands everywhere we walked that night
