Last week was the kid's spring break. We lucked out with great weather all week. We managed to keep busy so the week ended up going quicker than I thought it would.
Carter got a spiderman watch and has only taken it off for baths. He likes checking the time often.
The kids played outside while I gave Carter's dresser a face lift. I wanted to paint it since we moved him into his big boy room how many years ago. Better late than never. I'm happy with how it turned out and Carter told me it looks cool.
We went to the Mc Wane Center with Chuck one morning when he was post call. Carter and Chuck have to stick their faces in the peg boards every time.
The fish are always entertaining. They even had a starfish out for the kids to touch that day.
We got the wagon out and met our friends at the zoo.

Got some yard work done with the help of our little assistants. Carter enjoyed being in charge of the fertilizer or as he liked to call it "foodalizer"

The kids were sweaty and worn out by the time we left the gardens. Audrey was asleep before we were even half way home.
the sunshine looks nice. it was nice a few days ago, the snow had all melted and yesterday we got 17 inches of snow! augh

ReplyDeleteYour spring break adventures are bringing back deja vu from when Gabe and I visited! Hard to believe that was 3 years ago already! I so can't wait to get together with you guys this summer when you get to WI. Thanks for keeping us up to date with all your adventures and kodak moments. :)
