CCP Halloween Party

The weekend before Halloween the Club had their party for the kids.  They did a great job with everything and we had a lot of fun.  The walkway was lined with pumpkins and the kids got to pick one out on the way in.  They were also given a halloween bag to collect candy in at the different stations.
They had different stations set up with different activities.  Carter had fun decorating his pumpkin.  He always enjoys arts and crafts.
 Audrey proud of her pumpkin
Evelyn slept through most of the party
They had a nice buffet lunch set up.  All the kid classics and options for adults too.
They had a s'more station which was a hit with Carter.  He loves s'mores!
Audrey at the make your own caramel apple station.  They had all different toppings to pick from and she chose sprinkles.
They did hay rides through the golf course
Carter did the dancing like a zombie class.  He did a great job keeping up.  Each station had candy for the kids and Carter did the dancing to get the candy.  This kid will do anything for candy.

Witches walk

After we carved pumpkins we got ready to take the kids to the Witches Walk at the Fond du Lac Farm Park.  The park did a great job with all the decorations and lights.
The kiddos with sleeping Evelyn
We met up with another family from church.  The kids had fun walking around together and it was nice for Chuck & I to have others to talk to.
They had different stations along the walk where the kids got candy.  Here the witch had a sucker tree.  The stations were all decorated cute and had different ways the kids would get the candy.  I didn't get very many pictures since we lost track of time and I ended up leaving the camera on the counter.  These are some Chuck and I got with our phones.

Carving pumpkins

The weekend before Halloween we carved pumpkins.  The kids always have fun scooping out the "gooey, slimy stuff".
Audrey scooping with her pink scoop.
It's nice that Carter is getting more and more independent with this.  He punched out the whole design by himself.
 The finished product.

2 months old

The day of Evelyn's baptism she turned 2 months old.  I swear the time flies faster with each one!  She is such a good baby in so many ways.  She's my best sleeper at night and just goes with the flow during the day.  Audrey was already rolling over at this age but not Evelyn.  It's probably because I spoil her and hold her a ton.  I have to soak up the baby phase one last time.
This is what Tita Angela does when we are together.  She always captures some great images of the kiddos.  Can't wait to see what shots she got this time.
Just a random picture of all three of my munchkins
Playing hide and go seek is a lot more challenging in this house.  I found Audrey hiding down by her shoe basket in the mud room.  She can wedge herself in the smallest places.
Carter's most prized possession is his Stitch.  We can't go anywhere with out it and he sleeps with it every night.  The couple of times that we thought he was lost were traumatic.  This is why it was sweet when I saw him give Evelyn his Stitch to cuddle with. :)

Evelyn's baptism

We had Evelyn baptized Oct. 21st.  She slept through the whole sevice and just stretched when the water was poured on her head.
At that service Carter and Audrey both sang with their choirs.  I didn't get a picture of Carter because he was standing on the other side.  I managed to get one of Audrey though.  They both did a great job and it was nice that family got to see them sing.
After church we went to the club for brunch.  It was a beautiful day so we took pictures outside.

Evelyn wore the same gown that Audrey did.  It was the gown that my sisters and I were baptized in.

Tanners Orchard

Tita Angela and Uncle Brett came down for the weekend for Evelyn's baptism.  Saturday we took the kids to Tanners Orchard.  Due to the frost this last spring we couldn't pick the apples but they had the other activities going on.
Chuck & Audrey raced Brett & Carter on the peddle carts.  It was funny to watch and the boys had fun but poor Audrey was holding on for dear life.
The kids enjoyed the playground equipment.  Audrey's favorite is always the slide.
Carter's first ride on a pony
Carter never wanted to go on the pony rides.  Tita Angela didn't give him a choice and actually got him on one.  They gave him the black pony so we told him it's the darth vader pony.  As much as he doesn't want to admit it he had fun too.
Audrey always likes the pony rides.  She wanted Uncle Brett to walk with her.
We had to take some pics in the pumpkins
Evelyn was asleep in the bjorn but I should've taken her out to get one of all three of them.  Oh well.
Grandma Debbie and Mike got here at dinner time.  The kids settled down for the night with some new books.

my poor neglected blog

This picture is the reason that the blog has been neglected for almost a month.  With chasing Carter and Audrey around, having a 2 month old that doesn't like to nap and trying to get settled into our new house there hasn't been much time for blogging.  Here's a couple of pictures and I will continue to get the rest of the pictures on the computer to update again SOON.
Just a random cute picture of Evelyn
Audrey loves the cartoon Doc McStuffins.  I found her giving Evelyn a check up and diagnosis.
The kids are entertained by the work that continues to go on around the house.
I found the cutest carseat cover that came with a matching hat.  Love it!
Audrey loves to give Evelyn hugs and kisses throughout the day.  I think they are going to look a lot alike.
Chuck just had to order some fat heads for the kids rooms.  Carter picked out this AT AT fat head for his Star Wars room.
And no surprise Audrey picked Beauty and the Beast for her room
