Carter and the runner up receiving their spelling bee trophy
It's a cute little bee
He also received a golden paint brush award for art.
 Audrey placed for AR points
Carter did as well
 Certificate of completion.
 All the graduating 5th graders
He had a display for his enrichment projects
I'm so proud of him and all his accomplishments.  I can't wait to see what middle school as in store for him.
I love this note from his teacher in one of her last class newsletters.

trip trap

Our mini miss has been looking forward to this moment since the first day of school.  She finally is going to trip trap over the bridge.
After the kiddos sang some songs the teachers held hands in a circle around the graduating kids.  It was such a sweet moment as they prayed over them.
Then, one by one they got called up to trip trap.  The director gave each of them a blessing and a big hug before sending them over the bridge.
She absolutely flew across so fast that all I could get was this blurry picture.  I had no idea she would be that quick!
After trip trapping all three of her teachers (her 3's & 4's teachers and her 2 year old teacher) were there to give her a big hug.  You can tell in these pictures how much these teachers truly care about the kiddos.
The highlight of the program is the ice cream social.
It's so bitter sweet to see these kiddos move on.
Evelyn has been with these friends since 2 year old preschool.  We couldn't have asked for a better group of friends.
Not to mention the moms.  These ladies have been my village the last 3 years.  I'm so grateful for their friendship.
 buddies
 Her 3's & 4's teachers
Her buddy Jonathan.  He graduated from the all day class.
 Love these 2
It's so hard to believe our baby is done with preschool.  There were times I wanted to keep her home one more year since she is so young for her class. She doesn't want to be held back and is so ready to move on. I know she'll do great.

Last dayl & rocket launch

May 18th was my baby's last day of preschool. As much as I couldn't believe it, she had been talking about her last day since the first day. She can't wait to go to kindergarten!
I'm going to miss my little mini boss next school year.  I asked her who's going to eat lunch with me while she's at school next year.  She said, "Mom, you can just go to the gym or something." Well then.
That afternoon was Carter's rocket launch.  It was a hot and long afternoon.
They were having some technical difficulties with some of the launch equipment so we ended up standing in the heat for a long time.
Carter's failed to launch the first time. He had to wait a while before getting to try again.
He finally got it set up again.
His classmates gave him a countdown.
Success!

Muffins with mom

I look forward to the annual Muffins with Mom event at the school.  We managed to find the placemat Audrey decorated.
 Love these 2 crazy kiddos
It's hard to believe it was my last one with this guy.
Evelyn had been working with a private swim coach this year.  She has been so great with her.
Evelyn went from not knowing how to swim to swimming freestyle, backstroke and breast stroke.  My goal for her coach was to get Evelyn strong enough for swim team this summer and she more than delivered!

experiments & field trip

Audrey decided to get some of her science experiments done.
Just call her Dr. Pinkfluff.  At least that's what she said she would call herself in one of her writing pieces from school.
Her class had a great time on their field trip to the dairy farm.
My sitter wasn't available that day so I didn't get to go along.
Her teacher always does a great job of taking pictures.
I heard all about how cute the baby cows were.
Both second grade classes

A's jazz class

I missed parent observation for Audrey's ballet class because it was the night that she was modeling.  I did get to sit in on her jazz class.
This is the first year she was eligible to take jazz and she instantly fell in love with it.
She has a great group of girls in her class and really enjoys her teacher.
They were working on their recital piece that day.
I didn't catch her at the peak of her arabesque but still a cute pic.
 Go jazzerinas!
