Easter

 Happy Easter!
We had a nice Easter.  Chuck was actually home with us so we enjoyed a big breakfast as a family before hunting for all the eggs.  As soon as Carter woke up he knew what day it was and immediately started searching for his basket.
After looking all around the house he finally found it hanging in his closet.
Happy to have found his basket filled with the things he loves.  Bubbles, legos, glitter glue, etc.
Audrey found hers with Daddy's help.
Her basket included bottles & diapers for her babies, glitter glue, bubbles, a princess ball, etc.  She had to feed her baby right away.
Carter had to play with his Star Wars battle pods right away.
Audrey stripped baby Stella naked to put on the diaper.  She did a pretty good job too.  We'll see if she wants to help with baby A3's diaper changes :)
The lego master proud he assembled his Batman.
After our big breakfast we finally got the kids dressed and put out all the eggs Grandma Debbie and Mike sent.  The yellow & green eggs were for Carter and the pink & purple ones were for Audrey.  They did a good job picking up only their colors.
Daddy giving Audrey a lift to reach one of her eggs.  They were thrilled to go inside and find money in all the eggs!  Carter says he's rich now.
Posing with the bunny ears and frog mask from Noah's party.  The ears were perfect for Audrey because there is a crown on them.  It's a little hard to see in this picture.
The week was so busy with their parties and other activities we never got our eggs dyed.  We ended up dying some after lunch.  The kids always enjoy it.

Noah's b-day party

The Saturday before Easter Noah had his 3rd birthday party.  It was an Easter themed party and we all had a blast.  Here are just a few of the tons of pictures that were taken that day.
The dads hid the 200 eggs outside while the kids waited inside.  Laura's mom kept them entertained by making balloon animals and swords.  The boys had fun sword fighting.
The kids did a great job finding all the eggs.  Both Carter and Audrey filled their baskets in no time.
We managed to get all the kids to sit still for a group picture.
Audrey got a balloon flower instead of a sword.  She loved it!
Laura's mom was also going to do face painting and the boys ended up wanting their arms painted.  Carter had a snake going down his arms.
Audrey was too busy twirling in the bubbles to stop and get her face or arm painted.
The kids got to do a sneak attack on the dads with confetti eggs.  It was pretty funny to watch
Laura's mom stayed busy all afternoon.  The balloons kept popping on the grass and the kids kept coming back for more.

Park play date

We never had a weekend that Chuck wasn't on-call for us to have a birthday party for Audrey. The kids didn't have school on Good Friday so I had a last minute play date at the park for her. That way at least a couple of her friends got to sing to her.
Ready for us to sing happy birthday to the princess.
Of course Audrey wanted princess cupcakes. I made the oh so delicious Sprinkles recipe for strawberry cupcakes with strawberry frosting.
Her friends munching on the snacks.
That evening Uncle Mike, Aunt Michelle, Madison and her friend Lucy stopped for the night on their way down to Florida. The kids had a blast playing with the girls. After dinner the kids wanted to have a sleep over. They all piled on the air mattress, including Sasha and watched Cars 2. It was so nice to see them and catch up.

School Easter Parties

We are getting to the end of April and I'm finally posting about Easter. The kids had a lot of fun with both their parties at school. Audrey's was Wed. and Carter's was the Thur. before Easter. Here are some pics from their parties.
Audrey posing with her basket of eggs after her hunt around the playground. An attempt at a class picture.
Her cute bunny oreo
I was signed up to bring sweets for Carter's party. He asked me to make cupcakes. He was very excited to show his friends the Easter cupcakes we made.
His class got to have a special Mc Donalds lunch that day. I picked Audrey up some Chic-fil-a on our way so she could eat with Carter. Carter was sweet and shared his chair with her.The moms hid the eggs on the playground while the kids made their Easter craft. The rain held out long enough for the kids to find all the eggs. As soon as we went back inside it started to rain.
Carter with all his eggs. They each got to find 13 eggs. Carter was so good about counting them as he found them. As soon as he found 13 he helped his friends find the rest.

The force is with you young Jedi

Carter earned enough pennies at school to go to the "class store." He picked out a star wars force trainer. Of course since it's a star wars toy he was so excited! He couldn't wait to get home and try it out. He wore the head piece in the car and meditated all the way home.
I love how serious his face is in this picture. He was entertained all afternoon with it and went right back to it as soon as he woke up the next morning. Even Audrey had to test out her ability to use the force.
It takes him through different levels and I think it's Yoda's voice that talks him through it.

On a side note...Audrey had her 3 year check up that morning while Carter was at school. She weighed in at a whopping 27 lbs. = 18th percentile and is 36 in. tall = 40th percentile. She was born our little peanut and 3 years later she's our tiny dancer. Audrey loves when things are "tiny like me." :)

It's a...

Since I'm so far behind in blogging most of you already know that baby A3 is a girl! We had the ultrasound April 3rd. The kids are excited as are we. Carter is trilled to be getting the bedroom with a private bathroom in the new house. Ever since he saw the plans he's been wanting a girl.
She had her legs crossed at first and the ultrasound tech had to jab at my belly to get a better view. In the end we got the angle we needed. It's funny because Audrey's legs we crossed during the 18 week ultrasound too. It'll be interesting to see if this little girl turns out to be a diva like her big sister. :)The following day we got the pictures that they were digging the basement for our house
They also got the water line connected that day. Since then they have poured the basement. We are just waiting on getting those pictures yet.

Sweet Carter

From day one Carter has been a sweet and helpful big brother to Audrey. Now that they're older they of course have their moments. Overall, they love each other and are sweet to one another.
Audrey got some new nail polishes for her b-day and Carter offered to paint her toes for her. He ended up painting them in rainbow colors :) Audrey sat nice and still for him too. She asked him to paint her fingernails next.
After painting her toes he asked her, "Do you want me to paint on some sparkle lips to make you beautiful?" Audrey never turns down sparkle lips so he put a couple of colors on her.Carter also loves Sasha and the feeling is mutual. Sasha definitely favors Carter over Audrey. She lets Carter cuddle while she's chewing a bone and we still find her sleeping in his doorway at night.
I got the both of them to look :)
Here's a picture of the kids working nicely together at their table. They sat there working with out argument while I made dinner. I love when they can play/work with out me having to referee.

more b-day pics

The morning after her birthday, Audrey went straight for her new toys when she woke up. She got an accessory kit for her babies that included a highchair, carrier (like a bjorn), car seat, bouncy chair, etc. Audrey wanted Baby Stella to eat breakfast with her that morning.
Audrey had oatmeal but baby Stella got to have birthday cake for breakfast
Then, baby Stella had to ride in her car seat to take Carter to school. She's such a cute little mama. People got a kick out of Audrey carrying the car seat into the grocery store.
The presents continued to arrive in the mail. Tita Amy included cute Easter baskets filled with all sorts of goodies along with their b-day presents.

They had a lot of fun with the glowing gummy bugs
