10 year anniversary trip to Maui

It's hard to believe that September was our 10 year anniversary! We decided to take a trip to Maui to celebrate.  We went in mid October and it was a perfect time to go.  The weather was perfect and it wasn't too crowded any where we went.  This is going to take a bunch of posts while I go through all the pictures I took :)
It was a LONG day of travel!  Picking up our rental car took FOREVER!  We were so happy to be in the car, top down, on the way to our resort!  We had beautiful views of the ocean and mountains on the way.
After checking in we went down to one of the resorts restaurants Japengo for dinner.  It was delicious and the perfect first dinner of the trip.  When we got back to the room we found this sweet surprise.
This sweet treat was a welcome surprise from our agent that helped us with some of our vacation plans.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Kaanapali Beach.  We loved it there and would definitely stay there again.  This picture is on our balcony with the leis they gave us at check in.
This was the gorgeous view from our room.
We were on the top floor, overlooking the pool
One more of the view from our room.
Our first morning there we ate breakfast at the resort's Swan Court.  Our table was right by the water and the swans would swim right up to us.
There were penguins on the grounds!
 So cute!
The grounds at the Hyatt were just beautiful.

I wanted  to find some good Filipino food while we were there.  We were referred to chef Sheldon's restaurant Migrant in Wailea Beach.  There was a lot of Filipino influence in his dishes.  It was a delicious meal and I'm craving his pancit just thinking about it.  This picture was taken at a look out point on the way to the restaurant.
To top off the night there were fireworks while we enjoyed our dessert.

Fall mini sesson

The last weekend in September we had a mini family session with our photographer.
She always captures these three so well!

post photo shoot, shoot

The last weekend in Sept. we had family pictures taken.  I wanted to get some of the kids on my own camera as well.
Audrey and Carter are old enough to put up with the extended session.
 My handsome boy
The weather was perfect that day too.

 This pose is so Audrey!

Evelyn was done and wanted nothing to do with any more pictures.
 Such a little stinker
Some how we got her to laugh and I happened to catch it

phone dump

Sometimes my phone is the closest/only camera available. Every once in a while I remember to load them onto the computer.
With Evelyn being our last baby I find myself not getting anything done around the house because I cuddle with her every chance I get.  I have to soak it up while she still wants to snuggle with mommy.
This girl is OBSESSED with puppies!  She even has to hug and hang out with fake ones at the department store.
I caught these two cuddling and reading on the floor of Evelyn's closet.
 She absolutely loves Sasha
Kindergarten wares Audrey out.  Every once in a while she falls asleep in the car.  Evelyn always get concerned when this happens.
I hate having to get the kids up so early for school.  I upside is seeing the beautiful sunrise from Carter's window.
Mini miss has become very independent.  She carries that stool all over the house in order to do things herself.  She only asks for help when she completely fails after many attempts.
She thought these were hilarious.  I'm thinking about putting her in gymnastics next semester.  I think she'll really like it.
 And then this happened again
I volunteered at Evelyn's school.  She loves the playground and the equipment they have.  It was a lot of fun to see how the amazing teachers handle 12 two year olds.
Evelyn would not leave Target without this hat!  She also had to wear it right away :)
