1 month

 Evelyn is 1 month old!  (5 days ago)  I can't believe I caught her holding 1 finger up for the picture :)  She's an excellent baby.  She's been doing well going with the flow having to chase the other two around.  The poor thing spends a lot of time in the car seat.  She's already my best sleeper.  Her first stretch at night is around 5 hours.  There's been a couple of times where it's been 6! 

 Audrey wanted to get in the picture action.  She continues to love on Evelyn and help when she can.  Just ask her and she'll tell you what a good big sister she is :)

As for Carter...He's enjoying soccer.  It just so happens his team got the orange jerseys (his favorite color) and Carter was given #13 (my number when I played volleyball and soccer)  His team has been dominating and Carter even scored a goal.

anxious & excited

We have been in the rental house 4 months and we are so ready to move into OUR house and finally get unpacked and settled.  As anxious as we are it's also a little surreal to think that we are moving into our house this next weekend.  There still seems to be a good bit to do before it's ready but we know they'll get it done.  There's been a lot going on at the house since we had Evelyn so here's a couple of sneak peaks.

 

We love how the chimney on the front of the house turned out.  That's the office fireplace chimney.

 I searched a long time to find this stone for the great room fireplace and it was worth the effort.  So happy with how it turned out.

 I've said it before and I'll say it again.  I can't wait to get settled into my kitchen!  So happy with the tile backsplash and the awesome medallion over the stove.

The powder room is coming together.  I'm happy we splurged on the vessel sink.

 

It's so exciting to see these finishing touches go in the house.  Can't wait to post pictures of it completely done!

 Audrey always has to keep tabs on where Evelyn is.  If I set her down she immediately asks me where baby Evelyn is.  Here she is checking on her in her crib.

Evelyn is the first one of the three to not hate tummy time.  I was surprised how long she lasted before complaining.

Preschool

 Audrey had her first day of preschool on August 29th. (yep, I'm almost a month behind on this blog)  She was so excited to start at her new school she didn't want to pose for the picture.  She just wanted to get in the car and go.

 When we got to school she wanted her picture taken in this random chair in her room instead of somewhere cute.  Her excitement died down when one of her classmates was screaming bloody murder when her mom left.  Luckily, it didn't scare her too much and she still went into class without a problem.  She was all smiles and said she had fun when I picked her up later that morning.

First Bath

 It was time to give Evelyn her first bath at home.  Audrey pushed a chair over to supervise.  Carter did the same thing when Audrey was a baby.

 Of course she hated it and protested the whole time.  Thankfully, she's gotten used to it now.

Big Brother Big Sister

 I had to get a picture of the kiddos in their big brother/big sister shirts.  I found the perfect one for Carter since his says big brother in charge.  We all know that Carter always takes charge and thinks he's the boss :)  Audrey says that hers says big sister in charge even though is doesn't.
